Find a beat at Tuesday Musical’s Fuze series

Tuesday Musical’s Fuze series, which features innovative and edgy takes on classical music, opens at 7 p.m. with So Percussion and the University of Akron Percussion Ensemble. They’ll be performing Steve Reich’s percussion and vocal piece Drumming at Guzzetta Recital Hall, 157 University Ave., on the UA campus. Tickets are $25 (season subscriptions $60) at 330-761-3460, www.tuesdaymusical.org, or at the door as long as seats are available. Strum along at guitar concert at the CVNP

Hear a couple of world-class guitarists, Frank Vignola and Vinny Raniolo, in concert at 7 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Happy Days Lodge, 500 W. Streetsboro Road, Peninsula. Tickets are $20, $15 Conservancy members, $5 ages 3-12. 330-657-2909.

Head to Ledges Trail for a brisk evening hike

Brisk fall evenings are perfect for hiking. Join a ranger for a 2.2-mile hike on the unpaved, hilly Ledges Trail to explore its towering rock formations from 7-8:30 p.m. Meet at the Ledges Shelter and Trailhead, Truxell Road/Kendall Park Road, one mile west of Akron Cleveland Road in Peninsula. 330-657-2752.
