CLEVELAND: Police say a drunken driver has been arrested after they say she hit and killed a pedestrian in Northeast Ohio and didn’t stop.
Police say the 20-year-old woman struck the 56-year-old man early Sunday as he crossed a street in Cleveland, sending him into a parked car.
Police say she then drove home without helping him or calling 911, and that her father later reported the crash.
Authorities haven’t released the man’s identity.
Police say both speed and alcohol contributed to the crash and the driver will be charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and a felony hit-skip violation.
