Activities honor our veterans

Veterans and active military can also look up free meal offers, discounts and other perks at http://militarybenefits.info. Fred’s Diner isn’t on that list, but as we reminded you in a story Saturday, the Home Avenue diner serves a free helping of the mess hall staple “S--- on a Shingle” to any veterans with a hankering today.
