Beach Boy Love surfs into town

This Beach Boys tour doesn’t include Brian Wilson or Al Jardine; it’s headed by Mike Love. But they’ll still make some beautiful harmony at 7 p.m. at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica, on the west bank of the Flats in Cleveland. (And who knows? Maybe Love’s famous nephew Kevin will show up.) Tickets are $30-$75 at 800-745-3000, www.livenation.com.

More miles for running spree

Time is getting short if you’re trying to complete this year’s Summit Metroparks Running Spree. Earn credit on a four-mile group run led by staff from the Akron Marathon, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, Big Bend Trailhead, 1337 Merriman Road, Akron. 330-865-8065.

Dogs round up mansion’s sheep

Sheep are again wandering the grounds of the Perkins Stone Mansion, once called “Mutton Hill.” Catch a herding demonstration with Edie Steiner and her border collies, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the mansion, 550 Copley Road, Akron. It’s free. www.summithistory.org.
