Romance of ‘Once’ at E.J.
The musical Once lands at E.J. Thomas Hall for performances at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, part of the Broadway in Akron series. Based on the award-winning indie film, it follows the music-assisted romance of an Irish musician and a Czech immigrant, and all the actors play their own instruments. Special showing of ‘Nerdland’
The animated film Nerdland gets its premiere at a special showing at 8 p.m. at theaters including Cinemark at Portage Crossing, Cuyahoga Falls; Valley View 24; Hudson Cinema 10; and Montrose Movies 12, Akron.
