Akron firefighters investigate fire in Kenmore neighborhood

Akron firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire in a basement at a house at 835 Silvercrest Ave. in the city’s Kenmore neighborhood.

The fire was reported at 4:45 a.m. Friday.

No injuries were reported.
