Hear trumpeter record show

Trumpeter Terence Blanchard and the E-Collective are recording live shows Wednesday and Thursday for an upcoming CD release. Blanchard is the Tri-C Jazz Fest’s artist in residence. Each show is at 8 p.m. at the Music Settlement’s Bop Stop, 2920 Detroit Ave., Ohio City, Cleveland. $20. 216-421-5806, ext. 186.

Attend RV display in Cleveland

Has the chill in the air got you thinking about your next road trip? Dream big at the Ohio RV Supershow, which opens at noon and runs through Sunday at the I-X Center.

It promises 600 recreational vehicles on display including tent campers, travel trailers, fifth wheels and motor homes. There’s also music, and an animal show for kids. Admission is $13, parking $10. www.ohiorvshow.com.

Laugh with 25 amateur comics

Who’s the next great Ohio comedian? He or she may be onstage at the Funny Stop, as the club hosts 25 amateurs at 8 p.m. The Funny Stop is at 1757 State Road, Cuyahoga Falls. Tickets are $5 and up. www.funnystop.com.
