Documentary is family affair
The Eagle Huntress, one of the most acclaimed documentaries of 2016, lands at Akron’s Nightlight Cinema (30 N. High St.) and runs through Jan. 12. The family friendly film follows a 13-year-old girl who dreams of becoming the first female huntress in 12 generations of her family. Celebrate cold at First Friday
Winter doesn’t stop Canton’s First Friday. It’s embracing the “Cold as Ice” theme with mulled wine and other hot drinks, a free 7:30 p.m. showing of Frozen at the Palace Theatre, a figure skating show at 6 p.m. at the Hall of Fame City Ice Rink, and lots more.
