Actress sorry for funeral video
Sherri Shepherd apologized for sharing video of a fight at the funeral of comedian and actor Ricky Harris.
The former co-host of The View posted video to Periscope on Tuesday expressing her outrage at the fight during the gathering in Long Beach, Calif. She explained in the video that someone came inside the funeral home and went toward rapper Snoop Dogg.
Shepherd says in a statement that the posting was “an impulsive and emotional reaction after what I later learned was a misunderstanding” and she’s “sorry for any distress the video caused.”
Hip-hop stars heading to ring
A social media war between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy will apparently be settled in the ring with the help of boxer Floyd Mayweather.
Both hip-hop stars announced that they’ve signed on for a three-round bout that will be televised on pay-per-view and promoted by Mayweather’s companies.
Soulja Boy says the fight will take place in March in Las Vegas.
The feud stems from Soulja Boy’s liking of an Instagram picture posted by Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
Arnold rebuffs Trump tweet
On Friday, Donald Trump tweeted that Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger was “swamped” in his Celebrity Apprentice debut “by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT.”
“So much for being a movie star,” Trump tweeted, continuing: “But who cares, he supported Kasich and Hillary.”
Schwarzenegger tweeted back, urging Trump to work as hard for the American people as he did for his ratings.
Famous chef closes restaurants
Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is shutting six of his 42 Jamie’s Italian restaurants in Britain amid tough trading conditions and a lower pound following Britain’s vote to leave the European Union.
The Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group said Friday that five restaurants in England and one in Scotland would close.
