Ohio is tops when it comes to cheap apartment rents, according to ApartmentGuide.com.
The website assembled a list of “The Top 50 Cheapest Places to Rent an Apartment in America,” with 13 of them located in the Buckeye State.
Ohio’s total was the most communities in the top 50.
The Ohio cities are: Garfield Heights, $582.50; Hamilton, $580.50; Ravenna, $580; Reynoldsburg, $573.88; Middletown, $562; Toledo, $561.10; Groveport, $549; Enon, $531; Amberley, $525; Austintown, $519.33; Whitehall, $479.67; Maumee, $500; and Boardman, $469.
The website says it gathered data from Apartmentguide.com and Rent.com listings in November 2016, with the average price taken from one-bedroom units.
