VIENNA: Thursday’s visit by President Donald Trump to the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Vienna has been canceled, according to the 910th Airlift Wing at the attached Youngstown Air Reserve Station.

Trump, a Republican, was to come to sign a bill that coal supporters say will help the industry.

AKRON

Aggravated robbery

AKRON: A 37-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Sunday after he made arrangements to sell a computer on Craigslist.

The victim and the possible buyer met at a fast food restaurant in the 600 block of East Market Street. The victim showed the MacPro laptop to the man and the man said he wanted to show the computer to a friend who was sitting in a car in the parking lot. The man who said he wanted to buy the laptop took it out to the vehicle and got into the front passenger seat of the vehicle.

The seller got in the car and sat in the left rear passenger seat to talk about the computer. The man waiting in the driver’s seat pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the victim and told him to get out of the car. The victim got out of the car and the two men fled in the vehicle with the computer. The victim called police.

The suspects drove away in a small gray SUV.
