Revisit the world of Atticus, Scout and Boo Radley as Weathervane Playhouse opens its production of To Kill a Mockingbird with a 10 a.m. matinee, continuing through March 12. Get bowled over by soup festival
It doesn’t feel like soup weather, but you can still sip and slurp for a good cause at the Firestone High School Soup Fest, which benefits the Instrumental Music Association and runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the school, 333 Rampart Ave. in Akron. At last count there were 16 establishments offering soup. For $8 ($4.50 for children under 10) you get unlimited portions, a dessert and beverage. Bring a mug, or bowls will be available.
