A racially charged message and swastika made out of what appears to be masking or white tape were discovered on the door to the Ellet High School boys basketball team’s locker room Wednesday night.
They have since been removed, said Mark Williamson, director of marketing communications for Akron Public Schools, on Thursday.
“Clearly, this is reprehensible and unacceptable behavior. Akron Public Schools is investigating it and will discipline those responsible,” Williamson said.
