Run for theaters for Hitchcock classic
The 1959 film North by Northwest famously grew from a single idea: Alfred Hitchcock envisioning a chase across the faces of Mount Rushmore. (The other iconic scene is Cary Grant being menaced by a crop-dusting plane.) If you’ve never seen this twisty tale, or just want to experience it again on the big screen, it will be presented at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday and Wednesday at Montrose Movies 12, Akron; Cinemark at Portage Crossing, Cuyahoga Falls; Hudson 10, Hudson; Macedonia 15; Tinseltown USA, Jackson Township; Valley View 24; and Movies 10, Wooster. www.fathomevents.com.
