Cavaliers shooting guard Kyle Korver will return for Tuesday night's home game against the Orlando Magic after missing 11 out of the last 14 with an inflamed tendon in his left foot.
Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said Korver looked good in practice Monday, especially during three-on-three, four-on-four and five-on-five work.
"He had a good day yesterday," Lue said. "Today we'll see how he feels once he gets his minutes."
Lue said Korver won't have to wear special padding in his shoe to alleviate the soreness.
Korver, 36, has been battling the problem since early March. He said it has flared up at times during his career because he shoots primarily over his left shoulder. His first game missed was March 9 at Detroit. He returned March 22 at Denver and also played at Charlotte and at home against Washington, but said his foot never felt right.
Lue said he expects everyone to play against the Magic even though the Cavs have a crucial showdown at Boston Wednesday. The Cavs entered Tuesday one-half game back of the Celtics in the race for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
