Dancing siblings in Akron

Dancing with the Stars mainstays Julianne and Derek Hough debut their latest traveling show, Move — Beyond, at the Akron Civic Theatre at 8 p.m. Fans got a preview two weeks ago when the siblings performed an emotional duet about their parents’ divorce during the TV show. The theme revolves around the elements of earth, wind, fire and water, and dance styles will go way beyond ballroom. Tickets are $45-$79.50 at www.akroncivic.com.

Comic Chris Rock in Cleveland

The hilarious, multitalented Chris Rock (SNL, Everybody Hates Chris, Top Five) is back on the standup circuit after nine years, and comes to Cleveland on his “Total Blackout Tour” for two shows at the State Theatre, 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Author to sign LeBron book

The Kent State University Bookstore hosts author Chris Parker, who’ll sign King James Brings the Land a Crown: The Definitive Tale of the Cavaliers’ 2016 Title Run from noon to 2 p.m. The bookstore is at the Student Center, 1075 Risman Drive.
