The newest mural by the University of Akron’s Art Bomb Brigade will be unveiled during a party from 5 to 9 p.m. with music, karaoke, food and art vendors. The mural itself is on a wall of Echogen Power Systems, at the corner of Exchange and Water streets on Lock 1 of the Ohio and Erie Canal. www.facebook.com/artbombbrigade.

See ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’

It doesn’t quite feel like midsummer yet, but you can get into the spirit with this weekend’s Cleveland Orchestra performances, which include music from Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, complete with narration. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Severance Hall in Cleveland. Tickets are $49-$149 at www.clevelandorchestra.com.

Get some new flowers in Copley

Stock up your garden at the big Copley-Fairlawn Kiwanis Club Flower Sale, which runs 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the tent at Copley and Jacoby Roads in Copley. Plants, flowers and hanging baskets will be offered. www.copleyfairlawnkiwanis.org.

Attend DanceWorks performances

Verb Ballets and BodyEDT of Taiwan collaborated on this weekend’s DanceWorks performances, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Cleveland Public Theatre’s James Levin Theatre, 6415 Detroit Ave., Cleveland. Tickets are only $12 for Thursday,
