Dine at food trucks for charity
A Food Truck Frenzy will run from 4 to 8 p.m. at Child Guidance & Family Solutions, 18 N. Forge St., Akron. The trucks give a percentage of their sales to the nonprofit agency from this event and from the weekly Food Truck Fridays that will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through Sept. 1. Take in Alchemy Rising Festival
The Alchemy Rising Festival returns with three days of live music, art, workshops, an on-site art gallery, live painters and more. Musically, the festival seems to be a mix of various strains of music that can be incorporated under the general rubric of “jam” including rock, hip-hop, EDM and dance. Solve Sherlock Holmes mystery
Coach House Theatre opens Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery at 8 p.m., with shows continuing through June 4. Five actors play more than 40 different roles in this comic take on a classic.
