William Guegold, professor emeritus and former director of the School of Music at the University of Akron, talks about and plays the music of the Olympic Games at 7 p.m. at the Hudson Library & Historical Society. • Jeffrey Knowles discusses his memoir Cuyahoga’s Child: Growing Up in the Valley of the Crooked River from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Goodyear branch library, 60 Goodyear Blvd.
