questions for clinton, trump
In a series of meetings with Northeast Ohioans during the two major party conventions, they were asked to share a question they would pose to the candidates. Here are some responses:
• What would it take to end your race for presidency?
• How do you propose to bridge the racial divide? Something’s gotta be done. It’s getting wild out there.
• How can the country trust you to do what you say you’re going to do?
• (For Clinton) How will you proceed outside of the spectrum of special interest groups?
• (For Trump) What are your actual policies on immigration/building the wall? Is that how you feel or are you searching for votes?
• (For Trump) Where’s your tax return?
• (For Clinton) What will you do to regain trust after the email scandal?
• How would you keep taxes down?
• (For Trump) Why are you running?
• (For Clinton) Immigration and racism — how are we going to deal with these issues? How can there be a better rapport between law enforcement and others?
• How are you going to incorporate viewpoints different from yours if you are president?
• How will you make the world a better place and unify citizens?
• What is your plan to handle ISIS?
• How can you improve schools, keep health care for those who can’t afford it, and protect this country?
• What specifically will you do to unify the country? I have never, in my lifetime, seen the country more fragmented than it seems today.
