Baby on way for Nick Cannon
Nick Cannon says he’s expecting a baby with ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell. The 36-year-old America’s Got Talent and Wild ‘n Out host made the announcement on several radio shows Thursday morning. During an appearance on New York’s WWPR-FM, Cannon told the hosts, “God said be fruitful and multiply. I’m doing the Lord’s work.”
Cannon is also the dad of 5-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
Taboo talks about cancer fight
Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas has opened up about his recent battle with testicular cancer.
The rapper, 41, says he checked into an emergency room in 2014 after having pain throughout his body and found out that he had stage 2 testicular cancer.
He underwent surgery and a 12-week course of chemotherapy before being declared in remission last year.
Taboo’s struggle with cancer has inspired a new song, called The Fight. He says all proceeds from the single will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Elvis’ ex talks about marriage
Priscilla Presley opened up about her life with Elvis, saying she “truly lived in a bubble” with the superstar.
Presley began dating Elvis when she was 14 and he was 24. She tells British chat show Loose Women on the ITV network that she didn’t have her teenage years “as a normal girl.” She says she had to “adapt” and lost herself in Elvis’ life.
She married Elvis when she was 21 in 1967 and divorced in 1973. Presley, 71, says Elvis was the love of her life, but she “needed to find out what the world was like.”
Gretzky will be on ‘Simpsons’
Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky will become the first hockey player to lend his voice to The Simpsons, when he appears in an episode set to air next month.
Simpsons executive producer Al Jean tells NHL.com that the show was looking for “heroes of winter” for the Dec. 11th episode “and there couldn’t be a bigger hockey hero than Wayne Gretzky.”
