An early Friday morning drive-by shooting at a Ravenna gas station damaged a vehicle but did not injure anyone, police say.
Witnesses said gunshots struck the windshield of a car at the Clark Gas Station on Prospect Street about 12:30 a.m. Friday, police said. No one was hurt.
Witnesses initially flagged down a police vehicle from another agency that was driving through the area and said the shots came from someone in a white car but could not identify a make or model.
The white car turned off of South Prospect Street into a nearby neighborhood. Ravenna police said they later stopped a white car in the neighborhood but could not determine if the vehicle and its occupants were involved in the shooting.
Ravenna police said they collected evidence at the scene of the shooting and that they continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ravenna Police Department.
