Ever hear a dizi, pipa or guqin?

The Cleveland Chinese Music Ensemble (above) performs a free concert at 2 p.m. at Hudson Library & Historical Society, 96 Library St., Hudson. “All Across the Nine Provinces” is a celebration of the Chinese New Year (the Year of the Rooster). You’ll hear traditional instruments like dizi and xiao (bamboo flutes), suona (shawm), sheng (mouth organ), erhu (vertical fiddle), gaohu (Cantonese vertical fiddle), dahu (bass vertical fiddle), pipa (pear-shaped lute) and guqin (7-string zither). 330-653-6658, ext. 1010, or www.hudsonlibrary.org.

Race to see drag queens

Get jazzed for library show
