Two movie festivals in region
It’s cold outside, so why not check out a couple of film festivals?

Waltz over to Canton concert
Doesn’t everyone love a good Viennese waltz? The Canton Symphony Orchestra will celebrate A Night in Vienna with a concert of waltzes and polkas at 8 p.m. Saturday in Umstattd Performing Arts Hall at the Zimmermann Symphony Center. Princesses and superheroes
Lock 3 Park in Akron is hosting a princess and superhero weekend. There will be a pancake breakfast including all the fixings from 9:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the downtown Akron park. There will also be appearances by superheroes such as Spider-Man and princesses like Belle from Beauty and the Beast. The $10 cost includes breakfast, ice skating, indoor miniature golf, sledding and entrance to Akron Children’s Museum. Reserve a spot at 330-375-2877.
McKinley Day party in Canton
The annual McKinley Day celebration runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, 800 McKinley Monument Drive NW, Canton. It includes Civil War re-enactors, science shows and an open hearth cooking demonstration. Admission is $7. 330-455-7043.
