Watch Wandering Aesthetics

The Wandering Aesthetics theater company will offer “B4 Bed: Stories for Adults” from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Firestone Park Branch Library, 1486 Aster Ave., Akron. Storyteller Kyle Jozsa will read science fiction episodes from Kurt Vonnegut Jr.’s Harrison Bergeron and Robert Heinlein’s All You Zombies at the free event. Enjoy ‘random acts of music’

The Metro Parks Ensemble is winding up its summer season with free “random acts of music,” including one at 7 p.m. in Wood Hollow Metro Park, 2121 Barlow Road, Hudson. The volunteer ensemble will play marches, big band music and oldies for an hour. Call 330-865-8060 after 4 p.m. for a weather update.

Create Pokemon at the library

The Akron-Summit County Public Library’s Odom Branch will let kids create their own Pokemon characters at 3:30 p.m. Using special colorful beads that melt, kids can create their own characters from the popular game.
